Andean Crossing: Bariloche ↔ Puerto Varas
The Experience It is not just a transfer; it is a unique adventure in South America. We cross the Andes Mountains navigating through three lakes (Nahuel Huapi, Frías, and Todos los Santos) and connecting overland stretches through the Valdivian rainforest. You will travel from Bariloche to Puerto Varas (or vice versa), discovering landscapes that can only be reached by boat, with incredible views of Mount Tronador and the Osorno Volcano. You choose the pace: 1-Day Crossing (Express): We depart early (08:00 AM) and arrive at the destination at sunset. It involves approx. 12 hours of continuous travel combining navigation and buses. Crossing in 2 or more days (Relax): Ideal for enjoying the journey more. You spend the night midway (at Hotel Puerto Blest or Villa Peulla) and continue the trip the next day. What is included All lake (catamarans) and overland (buses) segments. Bilingual guides throughout the tour. Luggage handling (checked in and received at the final destination). Allowance: 1 suitcase up to 23kg + 1 small carry-on bag per person. MANDATORY Requirements Documentation: Valid ID or Passport in good condition. We are crossing an international border! Customs: Immigration procedures are carried out (Argentina/Chile). What is NOT included? Lunch (there are restaurants available along the route). Boarding taxes and entrance fees to Saltos del Petrohué (paid on-site).
