Puerto Blest & Los Cántaros Waterfall
Puerto Blest tour from Bariloche This tour combines sailing, nature, and the Valdivian rainforest in one of the most lush environments of Nahuel Huapi National Park. Starting from Puerto Pañuelo, 25 km from downtown Bariloche, the journey begins with a boat trip through the Blest Branch of Lake Nahuel Huapi, surrounded by mountains covered in temperate rainforest, crystal-clear rivers, and vegetation that surprises with its density and color. The first destination is Puerto Blest, where the Andes and the forest meet in a scenery of deep greens and turquoise waters. From there, a wooden walkway leads to the Los Cántaros Waterfall, fed by the waters of Lake Cántaros and surrounded by ancient coihues, larches (alerces), and arrayanes trees. The viewpoints along the route allow visitors to appreciate the power of the water and the beauty of the Valdivian rainforest. Optional Extension: Lake Frías From Puerto Blest, an additional boat trip can be taken on Lake Frías, known for its emerald green waters caused by glacial sediments. During the crossing, you can observe the snow-capped peaks of the Andes and the serenity of a pristine and silent landscape.
